When the critical patients injured in road accidents and broken bones come to Upazila Hospital, they are sent to Sadar Hospital after first treatment. However, an orthopedic consultant is providing medical services in the upazila hospital. An orthopedic surgeon also deals with orthopedic trauma, oncology (cancer), sports medicine.Former MP Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud inaugurated on April 4, 2021. Although inaugurated, no manpower has been appointed yet. No necessary equipment. Due to these reasons, this hospital could not be opened yet. The trauma center under implementation by the Directorate of Health Engineers is being constructed (a) 3-storey hospital building with 5-storey base. (b) Consultant/Medical Officer Dormitory with 3 floors including 5 floors, 2 units per floor, total 10 units. (c) Staff Dormitory with 5 floors including 5 floors (2 per floor total 10 units). The trauma center will provide medical services to the people of Hathazari, Raujan, Fatikchari people of North chattagram .
